Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 29, 2026
HelmIQ is committed to making its product usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most enterprise and public-sector buyers require.
1. Conformance target
Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time certification, so we treat conformance as a continuously maintained goal across new and existing features. This statement reflects our current status and is updated as we ship improvements.
2. What is in place today
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a single main heading per page.
- Keyboard navigation for primary flows, with visible focus styles.
- ARIA roles and labels on interactive components (dialogs, menus, form controls).
- Color choices reviewed for text contrast against the product palette.
- Form fields with associated labels and inline error messaging.
- Respect for the operating-system reduced-motion preference.
3. Known limitations
Some areas of the product are still being brought fully in line with our target. Complex data tables, certain charts, and a small number of third-party embedded components may not yet meet every Level AA success criterion. Where a gap affects your team, contact us and we will prioritize a fix or provide an accessible alternative.
4. Assessment approach
We combine automated checks during development with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing on primary flows. We treat reported accessibility issues as product defects, not optional enhancements.
5. Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier in HelmIQ, or need content in an alternative format, please tell us so we can help and fix the underlying issue. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days. Contact: jack@helmiq.net.
