California Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for California residents, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. We do not sell or share your personal information
HelmIQ does not sell your personal information, and does notshare it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Because we do not sell or share, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” action you need to take; the answer is already no for every user.
2. Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers: name, work email, account and firm identifiers.
- Commercial / professional information: the contacts, companies, and deals your firm manages in the product.
- Internet / network activity: request logs, IP addresses, error data used for security and debugging.
- Audio / electronic information: email and call content you choose to process through HelmIQ.
We collect this to provide the service, secure it, and meet legal obligations. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics, and we do not process it for purposes beyond providing the service.
3. Your California rights
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing (not applicable here, since we do neither).
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we already limit it to providing the service).
- Right to non-discrimination: we will never deny service, charge a different price, or degrade quality because you exercised a privacy right.
4. How to exercise your rights
You can access and export your data, and delete your account, directly in Settings. You may also submit a request by emailing jack@helmiq.net. We will verify your identity (typically by confirming control of the account email) before acting, and respond within the timelines the law requires. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: while your account is active, for 30 days after termination, then permanent deletion, except records we must retain longer under financial-services or tax law. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
