HelmIQ Zoom Integration

Overview

The HelmIQ Zoom integration lets users connect their Zoom account to HelmIQ so HelmIQ can generate Zoom meeting links for meetings and bookings. Generated Zoom links can be saved in HelmIQ and included in calendar invites sent to attendees.

HelmIQ uses Zoom only for user-authorized meeting link creation. HelmIQ does not request access to Zoom recordings, transcripts, chat messages, or account-wide administration.

Adding the app

  1. Log in to your HelmIQ account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Integrations.
  4. Select Zoom.
  5. Click Connect Zoom.
  6. You will be redirected to Zoom.
  7. Sign in to your Zoom account if prompted.
  8. Review the requested permissions.
  9. Click Allow.
  10. After authorization, you will be redirected back to HelmIQ.
  11. Zoom will show as connected in Settings → Integrations.

Using the app

After Zoom is connected, users can use HelmIQ to create Zoom meeting links.

Removing the app

Users can disconnect Zoom from HelmIQ:

  1. Log in to HelmIQ.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Integrations.
  4. Select Zoom.
  5. Click Disconnect.

Users can also remove HelmIQ from their Zoom account:

  1. Log in to Zoom.
  2. Go to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  3. Click Manage.
  4. Select Added Apps.
  5. Find HelmIQ.
  6. Click Remove.

Troubleshooting

I cannot connect Zoom

Confirm you are logged into the correct Zoom account and that your Zoom administrator allows third-party app authorization.

I connected the wrong Zoom account

Disconnect Zoom in HelmIQ, then reconnect using the correct Zoom account.

I created a meeting but no Zoom link appeared

Confirm Zoom is connected in Settings → Integrations. If the issue continues, contact support.

My organization blocks Zoom app installs

Ask your Zoom administrator to approve HelmIQ in the Zoom App Marketplace.
